Registration Guidelines
- WalkCT Ambassador registration is free and open to the sponsoring group/organization of a public walking location or event.
- Once you are an approved WalkCT Ambassador, you can begin submitting your post requests using our online location or event registration forms.
- Please register only walking locations and events that your organization manages.
- You may register an entire area with multiple walking locations, such as a park, preserve, or land trust, as single location submission. Just note the number of walking routes/trails and total length in the appropriate boxes on your form.
- Please limit events to those that provide significant fitness or health-related offerings. Happenings like a garden, art, or historic tour and a farmer's market count—those are just healthy walking and nutrition events in disguise.
- Please fill out your forms as thoroughly as possible so we can provide our visitors with lots of helpful information. We have designed the forms to automatically fill-in your pertinent WalkCT Ambassador information to save you from having to enter it every time you'd like to make a new location or event submission.
