Blue-blazed letterboxing at its best! Clue detectives unite! Join us for a fun-filled adventure of following clues, searching for letterboxes, and enjoying the sights and sounds of summer in the forest. What secrets might the forest share with us? Explore with us and discover those fun secrets.
Directions
Take Exit 8, Beaver Meadow Road, off Route 9 in Haddam. Go east and immediately take your first right onto Weiss Road. At the end of Weiss Road, turn right on Filley Road. Follow Filley Road under Route 9 and then up a steep gravel/dirt road, keeping to the right, until you come to Jericho Road (small wooden sign post with yellow lettering) on your right. Take Jericho Road about 0.1 mile to where the blue trail crosses the road. There are several wooden posts at this location. We will park in the lot just ahead on your left. Look for WalkCT Family Guide holding the WalkCT sign.

- Bring water, snack, and your excitement;
- Leave pets at home;
- Wear sturdy shoes; and
- Kids, please remember to bring your parents or caregivers.
