Location Details

This is a historic site where the The Farmington Canal crossed over the Farmington River on The Farmington Aqueduct. The trail heads west toward the Farmington River. At the river, it turns north and loops back to the point of origin.

Driving Directions:

From the intersection of Routes 10 and 4 (in Farmington), proceed north on Route 10 (Waterville Road) for approx. 2 miles. On the left, there will be a sign indicating the Canal Aqueduct Historic site parking lot. The trail begins at the parking lot.
