Location Details

This 155-acre park is adjacent to Indian Well State Park on the steep banks and floodplain forest of the Housatonic River. The Paugusset Trail bisects the property and Birchbank Trail (white) forms a 2-mile loop with a 250-foot elevation gain and uneven footing.

Driving Directions:

Take Route 110 (Leavenworth Road) to Birchbank Road at the sign for Indian Well State Park. Drive about 1 mile past Indian Well State Park and park next to the railroad crossing.
