Location Details

There are three major plant collections to be enjoyed at the Arboretum. The Native Plant Collection is 25 acres of woody plants and wildflowers native to eastern North America; there is a pond and walking trails. It is located on Williams Street.  The Campus Collection has trees and shrubs from around the world. The Caroline Black Garden is a outstanding four-acre beautiful collection with diverse woody plants in a garden setting. It is located across from the campus on Route 32.

How to get there

Driving Directions:

From I-95 northbound, take Exit 83, and turn left at the end of the ramp onto Wiliams Street. At the first traffice light, Turn right onto Route 32 North. Turn left into the college main entrance at the second traffic light. From I-95 southbound, take Exit 84N at the end of the Goldstar Memorial Bridge (over Thames River between Groton and New London) which becomes Route 32. Turn left at second light into the main entrace of the college.
