Location Details

Dennis Pond is a 40-acre town park that is very close to downtown Stafford Springs (about 1/4 mile from the town hall). The land was donated to the town by the Schofield Family. The family had three summer homes on the east side of the pond, an old stone fountain, and boat dock, which can still be seen from the trail. The Annual Fishing Derby is held every July in conjunction with the town's Summerfest Celebration. Enjoy the scenery by following Beaver Trail. This area is maintained by the Stafford Conservation Commission.
