Tarrywile Park is a 722-acre municipal park located in Danbury. With over 21 miles of hiking trails, you may have the opportunity to walk through open fields with spectacular views or over rugged, rocky terrain. The trails have varying degrees of difficulty, offering an option for everyone. Volunteers lead guided hikes most weekends; see the hike schedule at www.tarrywile.com/events.

How to get there

Driving Directions:

From I-84 West or East, take Exit 3 (Route 7 South, Park Ave., Danbury Mall & Danbury Airport exit). Take the second ramp on the right for the Danbury Airport. At the light at the end of the ramp, turn left onto Sugar Hollow Road. At the next light, turn left onto Wooster Heights. Go straight for 0.9 mile and take your third right onto Southern Boulevard. Follow Southern Boulevard for 0.6 mile and as it makes a sharp right. Look for main entrance on the right.

Use the lot immediately to the right as you come through the main entrance.
