Location Details

The trail starts at the parking lot and is easy to follow. It is compacted trap rock dust for about 1/2 mile and then is just compacted earth. It continues off Farmington Land Trust property on to Town of Farmington property for about 1/2 mile to Tunxis Mead Park. Once at the park, you can follow the road out of the park back to Meadow Road, turn left (east), and follow the sidewalk back to the parking lot. The entire loop is about 2 miles.

Driving Directions:

At the intersection of Routes 10 and 4, Farmington Center, proceed south on Route 10 to the second traffic light.  Turn right at the light and the parking lot is on the right about 100 feet after you cross the Pequabuck River.
