Location Details

This is the most popular place to hike or go mountain biking in Shelton. The 10-mile network of trails winds through 450 acres of city parkland. The routes are easy to moderate, depending on the trail chosen. Bring a trail map; the trails are color-coded and there are waymarkers on 4x4 posts along the trails that are keyed to the map. There are several access points, but perhaps the most popular is the Hope Lake picnicking area on Nells Rock Road.
