Location Details

Cowles Park is a 111-acre passive recreation area for activities such as hiking, biking, and snowshoeing. There are 2 circular marked trails within the park. Maps are available at Town Hall or the Parks & Recreation offices. There is also a large carved map with trail locations at the entrance of the park. The Park has access to the Blue-Blazed Metacomet Trail (part of the national New England Trail) and a beautiful vista/overlook.

Driving Directions:

From I-91 Exit 40 (Route 20 Granby/East Granby Exit). Go straight off the exit to 5th traffic light (intersection Route 20 and Route 187). Turn left onto Route 187 South/South Main Street. The park entrance is on your right about 1 mile from the traffic light.
